Pan African University Scholarships

In a vibrant moment of opportunity, the Pan African University invites young, talented applicants from across Africa and its Diaspora to apply for the 2025 PAUSTI and PAUWES scholarships to undertake postgraduate studies at Masters or PhD level. Initiated by the African Union’s Heads of State and Government, PAU champions quality postgraduate education aimed at a prosperous, integrated, and peaceful Africa.

Since February 20th, 2025, the online application process is live and will continue until March 20th, 2025. Applicants must meet clear requirements—including a recognized undergraduate degree (with at least a second class upper division), valid certificates, a detailed CV, a recommendation letter, and contact details for three lecturers. Those applying for the Master in Conference Interpreting and Translation programmes should also demonstrate proficiency in at least two of the African Union’s official languages.
