Available Scholarships

The program offers full-time study opportunities for Bachelor, Master, and PhD degrees at participating universities.

The scholarship allocation is as follows:

1. Bachelor degree program – 490 scholarships

2. Master degree program – 50 scholarships

3. PhD degree program – 10 scholarships

Eligibility, Requirements and Important Dates

The Higher Education Development National Center MSHE RK serves as the admissions operator for this program. Interested applicants can submit their documents online from March 30 to June 30, 2023. Before submitting your application, make sure to read the full instructions and check the list of participating universities and their respective specialties.

The application form can be submitted in Kazakh, Russian, or English. Applicants must attach scanned copies of the required documents, which vary depending on the degree level. Some common requirements include an identity document, a document on the previous level of education with a transcript, a motivational essay, letters of recommendation, and a medical certificate for studying abroad.

For Master and PhD degree applicants, an international certificate which proves the knowledge of a foreign language is needed. Accepted certificates include TOEFL IBT, IELTS Academic, Deutsche Sprachprüfung für den Hochschulzugang (DSH), TOEFL PBT, TFI, DELF,  TestDaF-Prüfung, TCF, and DALF.

PhD applicants have also to provide a substantiation of their dissertation research topic in the language of instruction (Kazakh, Russian, or English).
