Such scholarship is given for the minimum period needed for the candidate to finish the academic programme that is specified by the Australian higher education institution. This also includes any preparatory courses. In general, the award benefits are:

(1) Full tuition fees, (2) Flight ticket to and from Australia, (3) Establishment allowance, (4) Contribution to Living Expenses (CLE), (5) Introductory Academic Program (IAP, Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) for the duration of the award (for award holder only), (6) Pre-course English (PCE) fees, (7) Supplementary academic support may be available, and (8) Fieldwork may be available for eligible research students for 1 return economy class flight ticket via the most direct route to the candidate’s country of citizenship or within Australia.
