Every year, the Romanian Government, through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, offers a number of scholarships to candidates from non-EU countries. Only applicants with good academic results are eligible. Read more.
This is the scholarship provided by the Romanian State to foreign citizens through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) .
Study Programs and Language Requirements
Applicants may choose their study program of interest in all fields, with the exception of Medicine, Dental Medicine and Pharmacy. For applicants at the Bachelor and Master levels, only study programmes in Romanian language are available. However, at the PhD level, candidates can also select a programme in English or in a foreign language set by the doctoral school. A preparatory year in Romanian is also granted before enrolling in the study programme of choice, for applicants not speaking Romanian language.

Scholarship applications can be sent between 20 December 2021 and 15 March 2022.
