▷Catholic Relief Services offers opportunities for learning and growth in the field of international relief and development. CRS interns earn professional experience, build relevant skills and knowledge, and satisfy academic requirements. The internships are ideal for individuals who aspire to build their practical experience and knowledge in the non-profit sector of international relief and development. ▷The CRS offers two types of internships including the OVERSEAS INTERNSHIPS and the U.S. BASED INTERNSHIPS. For instance, overseas internship opportunities offered by the CRS are relevant and strategic for students studying international development or related fields. But as outlined below and as detailed on the CRS website, you can work in various fields as the CRS intern and undoubtedly make a considerable contribution while learning more. ►Through this internship program, you can earn great skills and experience in Proposal Development, Project Management, Monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning, Project Design, Budget and resource management, and Supply chain, logistics and more. ►This opportunity can allow you to contribute in programs, research and studies in different areas including Agriculture/livelihoods, Peacebuilding, Natural resource management, Health, WASH, psycho-social support, Education, Youth, Migration, and more.HOW TO APPLY
▶The application process depends on the internship type as described below. It is important to mention that this is the application process available on the CRS website on October 11, 2021. ❶Send resume and letter of interest to intern@crs.org. The letter should discuss the desired focus of your internship as well as your relevant skills. Candidates who are flexible on region and work are most likely to gain a CRS internship.
❷Complete short survey and/or video interview.
❸Review and comment on the scope of work provided by the CRS country program.
❹Interview with a CRS country program. CRS will propose internship placements based on agency needs and the intern’s skills.
U.S. BASED INTERNSHIPS
❶Apply to specific internship opportunities, posted on the CRS Careers Site.
❷Interview for an internship position.
❸Provide professional references.
